I am a 33-year resident of Gig Harbor who raised three children in the Peninsula School District. I have served on the school board since 2018 and am honored for the opportunity to continue this important work.

During my last term, we accomplished many great things. We hired a new superintendent, developed a strategic plan, celebrated the completion of four new elementary schools, and two modernized middle schools, and established a Navy RJOTC program. We are grateful to voters for your unwavering support. By passing the 2019 capital bond and the 2023 levies, you have demonstrated your commitment to education by providing the best resources for our students.

Our aging high school facilities now demand attention. We must ensure that our students and staff have access to safe and modern facilities, and foster an environment conducive to learning and growth for future generations.

My focus remains steadfast on improving learning outcomes in core academic subjects like literacy and math. Student safety and well-being must be prioritized, along with clear communication. I am also committed to expanding educational opportunities in skilled trades to equip students for an ever-changing world. Thank you for your continued trust and support.
